The ALZO 3-way energy saving CFL light bulb comes with an upgrade wire frame harp for perfect bulb fit. The harp in a standard table or floor lamp is too small for a CFL energy saving bulb, and the right-sized harp is hard to find (stores usually have to order them). The ALZO 3-way energy saving light bulb fits any medium screw base (E27, same as common light bulbs) and produces a warm white light, ideal as a room light. The 12-20-26 Watt power consumption equals a 50-80-100 Watt light output. Energy efficient - saves up to $84 over life of bulb (assumes 0.19/KWH North East energy cost), reduces global warming; Energy Star rated. Fully detailed installation instructions included. UL listed, 6,000 rated hour life, 3000K color temperature. 50W and 100W setting have 1 second start delay. Pack of 2.

Great idea to combine the larger harps with the CFLs. Work great and installation takes less than a minute.

These bulbs work great, and it was nice having the longers harps for some of my older lamps that the bulb wouldn't have otherwise fit in.

The harp and bulbs were easy to install. They are a definitely brighter than the regular 3-ways I used to use though, even on the lowest setting. The lowest setting has the brightness of the middle setting of a regular 3 way.

I hated to pay for new harps and bulbs just to get a 3-way for my living room lamps. After extended research, this is the only combination that would work for me. I hope hat they will come up with a shortr bulb to accomodate the average lamp harp.

The best part of this packet were the harps. The bulbs didn't last very long--about a month each. So much for energy saving....Was so disappointed that Amazon refunded my money.
